Why HEXACO?

Most scientists measure personality with the Big Five: a long-researched system that scores a subject on five dimensions. This assessment determines personality traits by examining the adjectives people use to describe themselves and others. But in the early 2000s, psychologists found evidence in support of a sixth dimension: honesty-humility. The HEXACO model not only incorporates this sixth trait, but also redefines some of the original Big Five dimensions, creating a more comprehensive image of one’s personality.
